I ran across a post on Frugalapolis about selling on Craigslist. It had some great tips. I especially like the info on encouraging people to text. I had never thought about having text be a form of response, but have seen lots of ads that encourage it.
I personally don't have texting on my phone, but if you would like to still use this option. Simply list an email address in your ad that someone can text to. Anyone with texting can text to your email account (I would not use your regular email account). You can respond to them through email, but your responses will show up as text for them.

Funding Christmas
This year, I funded a big part of our kids Christmas through Amazon giftcards. I ended up with around $275, which I was pretty happy with considering its free money. This year I hope to up it to $300, now that I found a few other sources to get giftcards from.
Most people now know about Swagbucks. It's a search engine that rewards you searching the internet. They also have other ways to earn, such as through referrals, surveys, and purchases to name a few. Most of my Amazon Giftcards were earned here.
Recently, Opinion Outpost started offering Amazon Giftcards as an option. The nice thing about them is you receive your e-card instantly. You can also do it for any amount with a minimum of $5.00
Opinion Place is another survey site. One of the methods they pay is via Amazon Giftcards. You can only do a survey on this site once a week, unless they send you a special invitation. I only make a small amount from this site.
I also am part of another closed group forum where I have the opportunity to earn $10.00 a month in Amazon Giftcards. Hoping to stay on top of this program to earn that monthly.
My goal is to earn $30 a month in Amazon giftcards for 10 months. That would give me $300 and give me the month of November to make up for any slow months or even to make extra. If you plan on doing this as well, please leave a comment. I would love to hear about it.

Goals for 2011
This year, my goal is to post more regularly here on Mom's Paycheck. I'm a homeschooling momma, so our weeks get a little busy focusing on school. That means, blogging takes a back seat, while I focus on the home front.
This week I hope to focus on listing my personal goals for the new year that relate to money making, budget stretching, or anything else I do to stretch a dollar or make one. That would include Ebay, Craigslist, Survey, Reward Sites, having a Garage Sale, spending below my budget, or whatever scheme (legit ones) I come up with.
If you have any ideas for this blog, I would love to hear about them. You can email me at kimssdr(@)gmail(dot)com.
